Millitech Corporation, based in Massachusetts, USA was established in 1982 by Dr. G. Richard Huguenin. In 1993 Millitech Corporation acquired the millimeter-wave product line from Hughes Aircraft Company. In 2005 Millitech became part of the Smiths Interconnect family of companies.
