SMB connectors are semi-precision, subminiature series devices that provide repeatable electrical performance from DC to 4 GHz. available in 50ohm and 75 ohm impedance. These subminiature connectors are best suited for use with cables in the range of .070” to .120” diameter, such as RG174, RG178, and RG316/u. Its smaller physical size and “ snap-on” coupling design make the SMB an ideal fro general purpose connector where packaging density, ease of mating/un-mating and economy are prerequisites.
